Application deadlines expired / changed

The application deadline (March 1) for the following courses has expired:

- Leadership and Management for Integrity
- Integrity in Political Society
- Pro-Poor Integrity


The application deadline has been extended until March 31 for the "Advanced European Union Legal Practice", the "Freedom and Experiences of Subjugation" and the "Feminist Intersectionality and Political Discourse" courses

The next application deadline is March 31 for the following courses:
- Feminist Intersectionality and Political Discourse
- Advanced European Union Legal Practice
- Freedom and Experiences of Subjugation


For all other courses late applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

General application deadline expired

The General application deadline (February 15) has expired. In response to numerous requests, a grace period is offered until February 22, during which we continue to accept submissions. After February 22 late applications will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

The next application deadline is March 1 for the following courses:

Ecosystem course - application deadline extended

The application deadline for "Ecosystem Vulnerability to Climate Change" course has been extended to March 15, 2010.

Intergovernmental course - application deadline expired

The application deadline for scholarship places in the Intergovernmental Fiscal Relation course has expired on January 24, 2010.
Fee-paying applications can be submitted until March 31, 2010.

Integrity Summer School fee change

The tuition fee of the Integrity Summer School (all the three courses) has changed. For further details please consult the course webpages ("Financial information" and "Fee payment" course menu items).

Integrity core course's title changed

The title of the Integrity core course changed from "Managing Integrity: Strategies and Approaches" to "Leadership and Management for Integrity".

The Online Application System is now available for all courses in 2010.

Online Application launched

The Online Application System has been activated as of 7th of December except for the "Advanced European Union Legal Practice" and the "Managing for Integrity: Strategies and Approaches" courses.
As sson as more detailed information is available for these two courses, the application system will be activated for those as well.

Summer lectures on Youtube

Selected lectures & presentations recorded in the 2007 summer school on "Culture and Cognition" have been uploaded to the CEU Youttube channel:
  Summer University 2007 - Culture and Cognition
Presenters include leading scholars in the fields of cognitive science, anthropology, etc. such as Dan Sperber (CNRS), Rita Astuti (LSE), Pascal Boyer (Washington U), Susan Carey (Harvard), Daniel Fessler (UCLA), Pierre Jacob (CNRS) and CEU's cognitive scientists Gyorgy Gergely and Gergely Csibra (Philosophy dept, Cognitive Development Center). In addition, some of the high-level PhD students participating in the course have also offered interesting presentations.
