The CEU Medical Center

The CEU Medical Center - with qualified, English-speaking doctors - will provide Summer University participants basic health service and refer them to specialists if it is required. You will need to bring a valid SUN ID and your medical insurance card.

Medical emergencies

In case the Medical Center is closed and the CEU doctors cannot be reached, participants should visit the following facilities in Budapest, in the order suggested below.

Please note that for all Summer University participants it is mandatory to have a health insurance policy for the duration of their stay in Hungary. All medical treatments (including medication) will have to be covered by the insurance company you have contracted or yourself.
CEU does not have any obligations to cover medical treatment for the Summer University participants.

Before purchasing your health insurance policy please enquire at the insurance company what is covered and to what extent by the health insurance or if any pre-financing is needed on your part.
