LIVING EXPENSES IN BUDAPEST


Estimated living costs


Estimated living costs are 250 EUR for two weeks including local transportation and meals.


Local Transportation


You can buy 7-day or 14-day passes for local transportation in Budapest, which are valid for all means of public transport (metro, buses, trolley buses and trams). Please make sure you bring a photo (3x4 cm) for the pass. You will not need a photo for the one-week pass.





Tickets and passes
- single ticket: 320 HUF
- daily ticket: 1550 HUF
- one-week pass: 4600 HUF
- two-weeks pass: 6500 HUF
- monthly pass for adults (with no discount): 9800 HUF
- monthly student pass: 3850 HUF
