ACCOMMODATION

The Summer University office makes tentative accommodation booking for all participants of the CEU Summer University. Check-in date is one day before the course starts, check-out date is one day after the course finishes. Breakfast is included.

Most courses will be accommodated in the CEU Residence Center, a modern, air-conditioned hostel, in shared double rooms for 2 persons, with 2 single beds, and a bathroom and toilet that roommates share. A few courses that have extra funding will be able to offer their participants single room occupancy in the Center. If your course provides shared double rooms but you do not wish to stay with another person, you can ask for a single room upgrade at your own expense.

Getting from the Center to the Central European University teaching facilities takes about 40-45 minutes by public transportation (bus+metro).

Accommodation grant recipients:
The grant covers housing expenses only for the course period. Participants are expected to cover extra days, extra persons and single room upgrades.

Please check the accommodation details of your course in the table below.

Self-funded participants:
We book your accommodation in the same hotel where scholarship participants are staying. If you do NOT wish to stay there, CLICK HERE and explore alternative accommodation options for apartment rentals or hotels.
