APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS


Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit application forms through the on-line registration system.
When you visit the page it will say "There is a problem with this website's security certificate" Please ignore it and click on the third line which says: "Continue to this website". If it offers a certificate, accept it and step further.

In addition to the completed application form, the following supporting documents are required to be sent:
  • CV (with a list of publications if any)

  • A Statement of Research Interest

  • Please describe how the course is relevant for your research, and in what way you expect to benefit from participating in the course. You are advised to consult the detailed course description on the course web page so that the Statement of Research Interest is in accordance with the main objectives of the course.

  • One Letter of Recommendation
Optional documents:
  • A copy of an article in English in progress or published recently

  • A copy of an English language certificate if available

  • A special cover letter, if a tuition waiver is applied for
Please note the following:
  • Attachments should be sent by email to by February 16, 2009.
    Applications will not be considered complete and will not be processed until all supporting materials have been received. In exceptional cases when applicants do not have easy access to email, attachments are accepted by regular mail.

  • The recommendation letter can be sent by the referee directly to the same email address:

  • If you apply to more than one course, a separate set of letters of recommendation and attachments (customized, if necessary, to the differing needs of the two courses) must be sent for each course of your choice. Please indicate your name and the course(s) you apply to on EACH attachment.

  • Applications submitted after the deadline will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
