All terminals of the Budapest Ferihegy Airport have an excellent, reliable, reasonably priced, door-to-door minibus service. Please look for the Airport Minibus Service desk in the airport lobby. They will drive you to your hotel for HUF 2,490 (return ticket HUF 4,390). The Minibus Service only accepts Hungarian currency or major international credit cards.

Please make sure you have some Hungarian currency to get transportation tickets or to be able to pay for the Airport Minibus upon arrival. (You can change money at several places at the airport as well.)

You can also get to the CEU Residence Center by public transport in about an hour. Tickets can be bought from the vending machine in front of the bus stop. (You'll need 3 of them.)

• Take the #200 bus departing from outside Terminal 1 and 2, The bus stop is between the "Arrivals" buildings of Terminals A and B. and get off at the "Kőbánya-Kispest" stop (the final station).
  
  
• Get off at the final station and walk 30 meters towards the METRO building and take the Metro to "Deák tér" (it is the 10th stop), then change to the red line and go to "Örs vezér tér", the final station.

The bus journey is only a few minutes (three stops if you take the #44, and 4 stops if you take the #45). From Déli Station

• Take the Red Metro line at Déli Railway Station and go to "Örs vezér tér" station, which is the last stop.

Every time you board a public transportation vehicle you must validate a ticket. One ticket costs HUF 230 and can be bought at each metro entrance or from a ticket vending machine. You will need two tickets if travelling from either the Déli or Keleti stations, and three tickets if travelling from the Nyugati station.
