Media, Democratization and Civil Society - e-Learning

Access to the site

Each summer university course has a password protected course web page, which allows the course faculty and the accepted participants to create an effective online learning community before the summer university course starts.

Those accepted to the course and confirmed their participation, receive their login and password along with instructions how to enter the e-learning course web page.

It is expected that all participants will familiarize themselves with the assigned materials prior to the program.
Access to the e-learning site is provided only for faculty and accepted participants.

The course uses the site for the following:
  • posting readings about a month before the course starts
  • creating faculty and participant profiles so that they can start getting to know one another
  • pre-course communication about the course (expectations, assignments, etc.)
After the course ends, SUN maintains the course web sites as alumni pages through which participants and faculty can stay in touch.
